I made this minidress as part of a month long theme on my blog I'm calling Star Wars Month! It's a nod to the outfits the Jedi wore but I also wanted to make it wearable and less costumey. It's pretty costumey still but I can wear it to the shops now!

I ended up getting a size XXL instead of a small for a drama club t-shirt. So, I had a perfect chance for some new surgery :)

I had a basic medium tshirt from the art institute of chicago I finally got around to messing with... I absolutely adored the shirt design but I don't wear tshirts. (especially ones that are large on me)
anyway, I took it in, changed the neckline to a more scoopish one, and added some bunching to the sleeves.

I havn't made a t-shirt surgery in ages.

I don't have a before pic, but it was huge + shapeless and so 90s. Not 'good' 90s ((not that that even exists anyway)). I grabbed it because I liked the checkers + the oppositeness.
